Chair of Business Education and Human Resource Development

The FBZHL is affiliated with the Chair of Business Education and Human Resource Development (Prof. Dr. Karl Wilbers). This reflects the academic discussion that university development and higher education teaching represent a central field of activity for business education. At the same time, this provides a theoretical input of vocational education research for the practice-oriented university didactic work of the FBZHL.

The chair’s focus on the topic of personnel development illustrates that the FBZHL sees itself as an institution that creates practical and target group-oriented concepts of personnel development in higher education for all employee groups that are confronted with questions of higher education teaching.

Fortbildungszentren Hochschullehre

We are in close exchange with the training centers of the universities of Bamberg and Bayreuth.

We also cooperate with the teaching and learning service of the TH Nürnberg.

ProfiLehrePlus

Via the ProfiLehrePlus program, we are connected with all centers for higher education teaching at Bavarian universities. Continuing education courses that participants attend as part of ProfiLehrePlus are recognized for the certificate of university teaching.

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hochschuldidaktik

Via the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hochschuldidaktik (dghd), we are networked with other German higher education teaching institutions and exchange information on current developments.

Netzwerk Tutorienarbeit an Hochschulen

In addition, the FBZHL of the FAU is an active member in the nationwide network Tutorienarbeit an Hochschulen.
